Fly Manila to El Nido (Lio Airport) with AirSWIFT — around 1 hour 30 minutes. From the airport, Nacpan Beach is 22 km north. Tricycle (₱1,000 round trip), shuttle (₱600 return), or rent a motorbike in El Nido town (₱400–500/day) and ride 45 minutes up the coast road.
↺ Round trip availableThe budget route. Fly into Puerto Princesa (PPS) with Cebu Pacific or PAL from ₱1,500, then take a shared van or Cherry Bus to El Nido (5–6 hours, ₱500–700). Vans depart from San Jose Terminal throughout the day. From El Nido town, tricycle or motorbike to Nacpan.
↺ Round trip availableMontenegro Lines, Atienza Shipping, and Jomalia run daily fast ferries from Coron to El Nido (3.5 hours, ₱1,760–2,850). Morning departures from 6:00 AM. Rough seas during amihan season (Dec–Feb) — take motion sickness tablets. From El Nido pier, 45 minutes to Nacpan.
Every way to reach Nacpan Beach — flights to Lio Airport or PPS, vans from Puerto Princesa, fast ferries from Coron, and the final 45-minute stretch from El Nido town. Our complete guide covers all options, real prices, and the cheapest combinations.
Nacpan gets consistent 1–2 metre waves, especially during wet season (June–October). Several beach shacks rent boards (₱300–500/hour) and offer lessons (₱800–1,200 including board). Beginner-friendly — sandy bottom, no reef. For bigger waves, head to Duli Beach 20 minutes north.
Hike to the hilltop between Nacpan and Calitang beaches for the iconic twin-beach panorama. 20–30 minutes each way on a marked trail. Best at golden hour for photography. Calitang is the smaller, quieter sister beach on the other side — usually deserted.
Rent kayaks and SUP boards from the beach shacks along the main stretch. Calm mornings are best for paddleboarding — the afternoon wind picks up and chops the surface. Sunset SUP sessions are popular. Expect ₱300–500 per hour for board hire.
The trail to Sabang Falls starts near the northern end of Nacpan Beach. 45–60 minutes each way through coconut groves and jungle. Go with a local guide (₱300–500) — the trail isn’t well-marked. Refreshing freshwater pool at the falls. Bring a dry bag and water shoes.
The signature El Nido tour. Big Lagoon (kayak through towering limestone), Secret Lagoon (swim through a narrow gap into a hidden pool), Shimizu Island (snorkelling), and 7 Commandos Beach. Book from El Nido town — combine with a Nacpan morning for the ultimate day.
Tour C is the snorkelling and hidden beach tour. Hidden Beach (swim through a gap in the cliffs), Matinloc Shrine, Secret Beach (accessible only by swimming through an opening in the rock), and Helicopter Island. Less crowded than Tour A, better snorkelling.
